In this role, you will provide vital mental health support and counseling to adults, utilizing various telehealth technologies to deliver individualized care from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients through video chat platforms, focusing on improving their emotional and mental well-being.
• Facilitating discussions around clients' feelings and experiences, helping them gain insights into their personal challenges and relationships.
• Collaborating with clients to define their therapeutic goals, acting as an advocate and coach throughout their journey.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and creating tailored treatment plans based on solution-focused therapeutic models and best practices in mental health care.
• Using our all-in-one counselor dashboard for efficient management of client interactions and treatment documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work exclusively with adult clients who have been carefully screened to ensure they are stable and low acuity. This means you will primarily engage with clients who are ready for counseling and are seeking support for common mental health concerns rather than severe mental illnesses. Additionally, we will match you with clients that align with your specialties and preferences, fostering a more meaningful therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and empathetic communication skills, with a natural inclination to support others in their emotional and mental health journeys.
• Demonstrate proficiency with technology, particularly in online counseling platforms and tools.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling and knowledge of solution-focused therapy approaches are advantageous. Familiarity with our counseling platform will facilitate a smoother transition into the role. Previous engagement with adult clients in an outpatient setting is highly valued.
