Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, working within our well-equipped outpatient clinic that emphasizes a teamwork approach to patient care. You will work closely with a committed group of healthcare professionals, including physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, ensuring a cohesive treatment experience. Our clinic is designed to facilitate rehabilitation through state-of-the-art equipment and therapeutic tools that enhance recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Utilize various manual techniques and clinical tools to deliver effective therapy, achieving targeted outcomes for pain relief and mobility restoration.
• Coach patients through tailored exercise programs aimed at building strength and improving functional movement.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Educate and empower patients about their conditions and the rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive environment conducive to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our focus is on delivering individualized care that addresses not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional support, allowing patients to regain confidence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A current physical therapist license (or the ability to obtain a license) in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's Degree or higher from an accredited PT program is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate patients and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in rehabilitation practices.
• Experience with using electronic health record systems to track patient progress and create detailed documentation.
• Hands-on experience in developing and leading effective exercise and rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
