Position Overview

Better Movement Coaching Hub is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team on a full-time basis. This role is fundamentally designed to provide high-quality behavioral healthcare to families, couples, and individuals. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving the mental health of your clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, addressing conflicts and enhancing communication.
• Providing individual therapy for clients to delve deeper into personal issues that affect familial relationships.
• Specializing in areas such as alcohol abuse, trauma, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and divorce adjustment.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy.
• Documenting client progress and outcomes in alignment with organizational standards, ensuring a seamless flow of information within our clinical team.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring clients to additional support services as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at Better Movement Coaching Hub encompasses a diverse range of individuals and families. You will work closely with adults, adolescents, and children, addressing a multitude of issues including:

• Alcohol abuse and dependency challenges.
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
• Grief and adjustment problems stemming from loss and life transitions.
• Conflicts between family members, including but not limited to sibling rivalry and parent-child issues.
• Struggles related to job stress and medical concerns.
• Dynamics of blended families and their unique challenges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role must possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of New York.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience is essential to ensure exceptional patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following factors can enhance your candidacy:

• Experience in developmental psychology or child counseling.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practices.
• Engagement in continuous professional development and clinical training activities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and expertise. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
