- Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Description
The University of West Alabama is accepting applications for the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach position. This is a full-time position. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Men's Soccer Coach with the operation of all facets of a successful Division II Men's Soccer program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Organizing practice and match plans for the men's soccer program.
- Coordinate scheduling and recruiting activities.
- Assist with financial aid and eligibility matters for student-athletes.
- Other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Collegiate soccer experience as a player and/or a coach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed academically.
- Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, coaching staff, students, and alumni.
Desired:
- College coaching and recruiting experience.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Master’s Degree or other advanced education.
Prior to hiring, the final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation, including information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
